General Contractor

Picture
We went out and surveyed homeowners on the subject of general contractors and found that one-for-one people who are ready to do some sort of home improvement are hesitant to start because of their own past bad experience with a general contractor or because they have heard horror stories from their family, friends or neighbors.

All too often a remodeling or room addition estimate that sounds like such a good deal turns out have major elements left out of it which become added charges that were not in the homeowner’s budget for the job.

Remodeling contractors have been known to disappear in the middle of a job, never to return, and the homeowner is left with an incomplete kitchen remodel, unusable bathroom or a room addition left open to the elements.

Other major home improvement disappointments include being seduced by the lowest remodeling bid only to find that the general contractor has achieved that alluring bottom line figure by using inferior materials and sloppy, get-it-done-quick methods of work.

Rocha Construction is aware of the pitfalls of trying to find a reliable, trustworthy general contractor.

We’ve seen it happen. We’ve listened to the tales of woe.
